Jell-O Is Releasing an Inflatable Furniture Collection — Here’s a Sneak Peek

Attention ’90s kids: Your favorite jiggly form of furniture is back. And it’s all thanks to another jiggly brand — Jell-O.

On Tuesday, Jell-O unveiled it’s entering the home decor market with the new Jelly Collection by Jell-O. And it’s exactly what you think it is: A line of inflatable, “playfully bold furniture inspired by iconic Jell-O molds.”

“For over 150 years, Jell-O has been at the heart of joyful family moments, big and small,” Tyler Parker, the brand manager of desserts at Kraft Heinz, shared in a statement provided to Food & Wine. “With The Jelly Collection, we’re not just celebrating our rich history; we’re bringing it to life for today’s families. By blending our heritage with a modern twist, we’re inviting consumers to embrace the playful spirit that has made Jell-O a beloved favorite for generations.”

As for what inspired the brand to create the collection of furniture, it noted in its press release that it was all thanks to the rise of “jelly-inspired” everything — including home decor, beauty, and fashion trends (hello, jelly shoes).

Fans of the trend, and Jell-O in general, can pick up a jelly chair in one of four colors — red, yellow, green, or orange — each made with “smooth, rounded curves, much like the classic Jell-O mold, creating a plush, inviting seat that offers both comfort and style,” the statement explained. It noted, the chairs are ideal for those heading back to school (seriously, you’ll be the talk of the dorm with one of these), or just for those looking to add a little whimsy to their home.

If you’re wondering why it picked those colors, it’s because each chair represents one of Jell-O’s best-selling flavors: lemon, lime, strawberry, and orange. And, each chair also comes with a built-in cup holder, perfectly designed to “fit a Ready-to-Eat Jell-O Gelatin cup, making it easy to enjoy your favorite snack while you relax.”

The chairs are available starting today on Amazon, at the surprisingly affordable price point of $30. But if you want one you better hurry because the chairs will only be available for a limited time. Unless, of course, you want to just make a giant chair Jell-O mold and make an edible version instead.
