Ryan Murphy has announced that Charlie Hunnam will lead the third season of his Netflix anthology series Monster.
The first season of the show starred Evan Peters as serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer and the second season follows the Menendez brothers, who killed their parents.
Ryan announced the season three news while speaking at the season two premiere event in Los Angeles on Monday night (September 16).

Variety reports that Charlie will star as serial killer Ed Gein, who was known as the “Butcher of Plainfield.” He famously exhumed the bodies of dead people from local graveyards and made all sorts of items out of the skin and bones of the corpses. He also confessed to killing two women.
Charlie was recently announced as the star of an upcoming Prime Video series based on a popular graphic novel.
