Val Kilmer passed away Tuesday from pneumonia after a long battle with throat cancer. The immensely talented actor leaves behind a legacy of amazing work in film.
A character actor with the good looks of a leading man, Val Kilmer was a tremendously underrated thespian with a diverse oeuvre.
Val said, “What art does for everyone, helps you understand yourself and in a distilled way, whether it’s a painting or a scene in acting or a joke. It distills something about everyday life that can be important to you.”
