Rohit doesn’t want to perform for MI anymore?
MI took to social media to upload a short clip of Rohit speaking to Zaheer Khan following which he meets LSG captain Pant. In the initial part of the video, the Hitman is heard saying that he did what he had to do and that he doesn’t have to do anything now.
“Jo jab Karna tha maine kiya barabar se, ab mereko kuch karne ki zarurat nahi hai ,” Rohit Sharma was heard saying.
MI fans were quick to call out Rohit for his remarks. Some of them even called the former MI skipper “greedy”, accusing him of deliberately not performing for the franchise. It is pertinent to point out that the context of Rohit’s remarks in his conversation with Zaheer is unclear.

What did Pollard say about Rohit?
“There are times when you have a couple of low scores but, you know, he’s earned the right as an individual to now enjoy his cricket and not be pressurized in certain situations,” Pollard said about Rohit Sharma on the eve of the LSG vs MI clash.
“So let’s not judge on a couple low scores. In cricket, you know, we fail more than we succeed and I’m sure we’ll be singing out his praises when he comes out and gives us that big score and then we’ll be on to the next hot topic.“
