Olivia Culpo isn’t going to apologize for her essentials.
After the former Miss Universe welcomed her and husband Christian McCaffrey’s first baby, daughter Colette Annalise McCaffrey, July 13, she subtly clapped back at the criticism of her well-packed hospital bag, which, of course, included flameless candles.
“Look what I still couldn’t part ways with,” Olivia cheekily wrote in a July 15 Instagram Story with a photo of her candles lit up on a shelf. “These have really been AMAZING post c-section.”
And the 33-year-old emphasized that while many fans pushed back on her version of essentials, they all came in handy.
“I got roasted a little for what I packed—but I ended up using it ALL,” she assured. “When you’re recovering from a C-section and stuck in the hospital for 3-4 plus days, having your creature comforts is no joke. Sharing in case it helps another comfort queen.”
Indeed, Olivia dived into what exactly she brought along to the hospital in a July 11 TikTok, all of which took two large suitcases to fill.
