LeAnn Rimes, Sheryl Crow Joining The Voice as Mega Mentors
The Voice’s Kelsea Ballerini Is Manifesting a Collaboration With This Judge (Exclusive)
The Voice just got a little more country.
The NBC singing competition series announced they will welcome music icons LeAnn Rimes and Sheryl Crow as their season 27 Mega Mentors to assist the coaches and contestants during the playoff round.
Rimes—who became the youngest person to ever win the Grammy for Best New Artist in 1997 at 14 years old—will support coaches John Legend and Adam Levine. Crow, who herself is a nine-time Grammy winner, will join coaches Kelsea Ballerini and Michael Bublé.
Both mega mentors celebrated the announcement by sharing the news to their Instagram Stories.
Rimes and Crow join an elite group of musicians who have filled the important role of Mega Mentor, with the position previously going to stars like Taylor Swift and Keith Urban, as well as former Voice coaches Reba McEntire and Jennifer Hudson. And just as the pair are accomplished musicians, they are also experienced when it comes to The Voice.
