Guide to Red Carpet Events and Parties – The Hollywood Reporter

Remember the Emmys? Due to Hollywood’s dual strikes, the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards were delayed from last fall. The telecast, fronted by Anthony Anderson, will take place at Downtown L.A.’s Peacock Theater on Monday, Jan. 15, at a time marked by an explosion of events and perhaps one of the most crowded corridors in awards season history. Get ready to pop some Champagne!

Thursday, Jan. 11

Canada at the Emmys
Private location, 5:30 p.m.
Zaib Shaikh, Canada’s consul general in Los Angeles along with Kirsten Hillman, Canada’s ambassador to the United States will open the doors of Canada’s House for a private reception to honor this year’s Canadian Emmy nominees. Expected guests include Lamar Johnson, Luke Kirby, Susan Coyne, Devery Jacobs, Tantoo Cardinal, Sarah Levy, Shamier Anderson, Mae Martin, Sophie Nélisse, Jeremy Podeswa, Dustin Milligan, Michael Seater, Amanda Crew, Cassandra James, Bruce Greenwood, Enuka Okuma, Jennifer Robertson, Michelle Thrush, Marie Clements and more.

TCM 30th Anniversary Celebration

Michael DeLuca and Pam Abdy are on the invite to join Steven Spielberg, Martin Scorsese and Paul Thomas Anderson to celebrate the milestone anniversary of Turner Classic Movies along with Ben Mankiewicz, Jacqueline Stewart, Dave Karger, Alicia Malone and Eddie Muller.

Pooph’s Critics Choice Luxury Lounge
Private location, Beverly Hills, Jan. 12-13, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

The Oscar winner is hosting a brunch in celebration of director Eva Longoria on the heels of the success of Longoria’s Hulu film Flamin’ Hot as well as her recently launched tequila line Casa Del Sol. Celebrity attendees expected.

BAFTA Tea Party
Maybourne Beverly Hills, 225 N. Canon Drive, Beverly Hills, 2 p.m.
The star-packed party returns to the pre-Emmys schedule.

Only Official Emmys Giving Suite
J.W. Marriott, L.A. Live, 900 W. Olympic Blvd., Los Angeles, Jan. 13 from 1-4 p.m., Jan. 14 from 12-7 p.m.
Backstage Creations is producing the luxury gifting suite that supports the Television Academy Foundation. The company will host nominees, TV insiders and likely a few winners (hello, Succession!) for a post-show bash at the private membership club. Curating the music will be someone who knows beats quite well, DJ Este Haim, who is taking a night off from her day job with the indie pop trio she’s in with her sisters.
