Boozy Stocking Stuffers for Cocktail Lovers

When it comes to holiday gift-giving, hunting for the perfect stocking stuffers can be nearly as fun as digging into them on Christmas morning. Tiny treasures, small enough to fit into an oversized sock, can bring heaps of cheer. For the cocktail enthusiast in your life, booze-themed stocking stuffers can lift spirits even further.

Since an entire bottle of booze would leave room for little else in a standard stocking, creativity is key. Luckily, there are miniature cocktail-inspired treasures, and we’ve gathered some favorites. From pocket potables and mini cocktail garnishes to shot-sized Moscow Mule mugs, here are our top choices to make your stockings boozy and bright.

Food & Wine / The Bitter Truth GmbH

This award-winning bitters line was created with classic cocktails in mind. The Bitter Truth Cocktail Bitters Travelers Set includes five of their most classic flavors in 20 mL bottles, all set inside an attractive retro tin box. This set was designed to be carried while traveling, and is small enough to journey with you on a flight to punch up those less than perfect in-flight sips.

Food & Wine / Cocktail Kingdom

Cocktail Kingdom is the go-to barware shop for many in-the-know hospitality professionals. Their well-made cocktail shakers and glassware often land at the top of “Best of” lists around the internet. Though these mini Moscow Mule shot mugs may seem novelty, they are 100% copper mugs but “with a much smaller footprint.” Each mug in this four-pack is 5 ounces, at a 2:5 scale reproduction of the original 1946 Moscow Mule mug. If you’re going for a theme this holiday you can always throw in a mini bottle of vodka, ginger beer, and a lime to put those mugs to use.

Food & Wine / Love & Victory LLC

Love & Victory, helmed by designer Meg Moorhouse, is a small, Brooklyn-based design studio that has crafted cocktail-inspired pieces (among other things) since 2008. From stylish barware and cocktail cufflinks to boozy Christmas ornaments, this studio can be a one-stop shop for libation-inspired stocking stuffers.

This cocktail card deck, available on Love & Victory’s website as well as at West Elm, features 52 classic cocktail recipes divided between gin, rum, tequila, and whiskey. Each “playing” card is designed in bright, clear graphics, perfect for novices and experienced bartenders alike.

Food & Wine / Golden Rule Spirits

This San Francisco-based company has been crafting ready-to-drink cocktails since 2017. The Espresso Martini is one of the newer additions to their lineup that includes a classic Margarita and Old Fashioned. Made with vodka, California-based Equator espresso, housemade vanilla liqueur, cinnamon, and chicory root, the resulting cocktail is rich, coffee-forward, and subtlety spiced. This bar-strength mini lands at 24% ABV and can served up, right out of the fridge, or on the rocks.

Food & Wine / FILTHY FOOD, LLC

These snack-sized stocking stuffers are for the Dirty Martini lover in your life. Miami-based Filthy Food produces cocktail mixers and garnishes, and is most popularly known for its high-quality packaged olive brine and premium cocktail olives. This variety bundle contains four small jars of olives, each naturally cured and hand-stuffed with mini gherkins, piri piri flame peppers, sharp Wisconsin blue cheese, and Spanish pimento pepper.

Food & Wine / Maison Solìs

Maison Solís, created by wine and spirits industry veteran Joseph D. Solís, is a luxury lifestyle brand inspired by cocktail culture. The brand produces a curated line of bar essentials crafted by fourth-generation coppersmiths in Michoacán, Mexico. They recently launched the world’s first agave-inspired fragrance collection, three eau de parfums, each one representing the different stages of aged agave spirits: blanco, reposado, and añejo.

The Maison Solís Discovery Set features the three unique fragrances, all unisex, in 5mL sample sizes. Blanco is bright, citrusy and reminiscent of crisp fresh agave, with hints of coconut and cedar. Reposado is slightly warmer with sweet roasted agave and charred whiskey barrel notes. Añejo is the most complex fragrance of the three, with bold notes of caramelized agave, toasted rum barrels, hibiscus, and spices.

Food & Wine / Los Cazadores

This fall, Tequila Cazadores launched the Cocina Collection, a limited-edition, home-entertaining collection in partnership with actress Francia Raísa. The 14-piece set, hand-crafted by artisans in Mexico, includes brightly colored glassware, plates, napkins, serving trays, and tequileros. This 4-piece coaster set is perfectly stocking stuffer sized for festive entertaining and a pop of color on the dining table.

Food & Wine / Fabbri 1905

Whether you’re stirring up a Manhattan or shaking up an improved Amaretto Sour, high-quality cocktail cherries are a must for any true cocktail enthusiast. Italian company Fabbri has a cult following based on the quality of the product itself almost as much as the memorable blue-and-white ceramic jar in which these cherries are packaged.

Since 1905, Fabbri has used amarena cherries, a small variety native to the Emilia-Romagna region of northern Italy, that is slightly sour in taste and deeply red in color. After being slow-cooked, the cherries are dark and rich, with a complex sweet and tart flavor. This mini jar is 8.1 ounces and perfectly sized to be tucked into a Christmas stocking.
