Black cats get a bad rep and we are not a fan. Any cat person knows that black cats are some of the sweetest and silliest kitty cats around. They feel more like good luck than the stupid stereotypical “bad luck.” They only feel spooky because they blend into anything you have around the house that is also black and it makes it seem like they are disappearing and transporting. (It’s orange cats that are the real chaotic ones—who we also love very much.) We want to celebrate all black cats, because they deserve it! We don’t know if you’ve seen the 2024 animated film Flow starring an adorable black cat on an adventure and making lots of friends along the way—but we highly recommend it! Apparently, it’s even help up the percentage of black cats being adopted!
