EXCLUSIVE: Rhett McLaughlin & Link Neal, the internet-first comedy duo best known as Rhett & Link, are bringing back their unscripted series Rhett & Link’s Wonderhole in August.
Hailing from their entertainment studio Mythical, the show’s second season will be released on a weekly cadence on YouTube to general audiences, beginning Sunday, August 24 at 2 p.m. ET/ 11 a.m. PT. Early and ad-free access will be granted to Mythical Society members every Wednesday starting August 20. Check out a trailer above.
In Season 2, Rhett & Link will look to build on the success of the show’s first set of episodes, which amassed more than 8.9 million views on YouTube. Each episode begins as a popular YouTube video format until the story brings Rhett & Link, and viewers, into the Wonderhole on a journey they never would have expected. Premiering last August, the show’s second run will feature special guest appearances from The Office‘s Rainn Wilson and Kate Flannery, Danny Trejo, Rob Huebel, and more. As a special bonus, fans will have the opportunity to be among the first to see select episodes from Wonderhole Season 2 during a two-city live event tour in Los Angeles and Seattle from August 16-17.
“Wonderhole season 2 began with a question. What if the starting point for every episode was an irresistibly clickable title and thumbnail, but then we rewarded that click by taking things in a direction the audience could have never anticipated?” Rhett & Link said. “To be honest, things ended up going places even we didn’t anticipate. It gets weird. We can’t confirm or deny if there’s a nude scene, but either way, we’re proud of the stories that we and our small but mighty team have put together. We’re excited for fans to go down the Wonderhole with us.”
Best known for Good Mythical Morning, one of the most-watched daily shows on the internet, which in its 13th year counts 19.3 million subscribers on YouTube, Rhett & Link are a comedy duo who met in first-grade detention after writing profanities on their desks and later performed comedic sketches in grade school. Decades later, they’ve established themselves as two of the entertainment landscape’s most popular digital creators, having bootstrapped Mythical Entertainment into a 100+ employee studio. Currently investing in the next generation of creator-entrepreneurs via their Mythical Ventures fund, the pair placed ninth on Forbes’s 2024 Top Creator List and rose to fourth place on this year’s list. Counted among FastCo’s 10 Most Innovative Companies in Video for 2024, they also won the Show of the Year Streamy Award in 2019 and 2022 for Good Mythical Morning.
Mythical’s owned and operated YouTube channels have amassed 34 million subscribers and 14 billion lifetime views, and its combined following on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Snap, and Twitter exceeds 26 million. Rhett & Link are repped by WME, Studio71, and Hansen, Jacobson, Teller.
