ZIM vs SA Test: Zimbabwe toil as Mulder smashes career best ton
Wiaan Mulder had taken four wickets with ball in hand but he was not done yet. Resuming on 25, the Proteas No.3 continued his dream Test match with a stunning effort in Bulawayo on Monday. The 27-year-old stroked his second test century, smashing a stunning 147. It was his career best score, helping the Proteas pile misery on Craig Ervine and Co.
Mulder held one end as David Bedingham, Corbin Bosch and Kyle Verreyne all chipped in with cameos. Dewald Brevis and Lhuan-dre Pretorius fell for single digit scores. Captain Keshav Maharaj further inflicted wounds with a half-century of his own. The visitors were eventually bowled out for 369 in the final session. Wellington Masakadza was the pick of the bowlers with 4/98. Zimbabwe dearly missed Blessing Muzarabani, who walked off the field due to illness.
