Wholesome human rescues abandoned gas station kitty after learning he was left behind with no one to care for him, giving the sleepy stray a life filled with safety and love: ‘I couldn’t just leave him there’

Last week, this little fella showed up outside my work. I posted in local FB groups to see if he belonged to anyone, only to find out that he (along with at least three others) had been neglected and then abandoned by his previous owners. I immediately knew I couldn’t sleep if I left him there, so he came home with me.

Pic 3 is from his second day home. I accidentally fell asleep shortly after taking that picture, and when I woke up four hours later, he’d moved about 3mm, lol. I think he was just relieved to finally have a warm place to sleep.
