After weeks of speculation, it appears that fans are finally figuring out who Joe Locke is playing on Agatha All Along!
The 21-year-old Heartstopper actor shares the screen with the likes of Kathryn Hahn in the new Disney+ series, which picks up after 2021′s WandaVision. Up to now, his character has only been referred to as Teen.
Teen’s identity is shrouded in mystery as a result of a magical “sigil.” It’s purpose is literally to stop him from telling others about his past. Of course, that hasn’t stopped fans from speculating about the character.
During the October 9 episode “Darkest Hour / Wake Thy Power” there was a huge hint about Teen’s real name, and it seemingly confirmed a long-running theory that would tie Joe‘s character even more into the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

After learning that Teen is not Agatha (Hahn)’s son in the fourth episode, the latest episode shines more light onto the character’s past. It appears that he is playing the hero Wiccan, whose real name is Billy Kaplan.
Who is Billy though? He’s none other than one of the Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany)’s twin sons.
In WandaVision, Billy is shown to have inherited powers, and Teen is also showing magical abilities.
The latest episode ends with his character turning on the members of his coven with Agatha proclaiming that he is “so much like your mother.”
After attacking, Teen is shown wearing a crown that resembles the one that the Scarlet Witch donned in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. It’s not the final confirmation, but it does align with long-running fan theories about Joe‘s character.
“The fan theories are fun, but they’re fans’ theories and I shouldn’t be the one to comment on them until it’s the right time,” Joe told EW about the rumors in September.
