‘This email HAS found me well’: Email is mad at the blender, but the online feline family is loosing it over this cat’s name, which is arguably the best
‘I hope this email finds you well.’ No, Karen, most of the time it doesn’t. We’re cat pawrents and we’re hardworking hoomans who are trying to provide for our fluffy friends back home. You know what? You know what, Karen? If our cat’s name was ‘Email’ then we’d finally have an email finding us well. Otherwise, please save us your emails that are searching for us only to find us not well. That’s not well, Karen.
Okay, okay, we got it out of our system. Hey, you want to know something so cool? We’ve found an email that can find you well. It found us well, for sure. This email is actually a cat, so as we’ve said – when a cat is an email, it always finds us well. Somewhere out there there’s a hooman who named their cat ‘Email’, and all they wanted to do is share Email’s airplane mode when the blender is on. Because of course cats are mad, so much as to activate their ears on airplane mode, when anything like a blender, a vacuum cleaner, or a very old computer, is activated within earshot of them.
But, oh boy, they did not expect the online feline family to absolutely lose it over Email’s name. Instead of a thread about ears in airplane mode, or about The Committee Against Vacuum Cleaners (which includes blenders, of course) – this Reddit thread diverged right to having a party about the fact there’s a cat in the world named ‘Email’. All the online feline family rejoyced, while Email was still upset and in airplane mode, but still looking cute as heck.
And you thought we would not take part in this party? Oh, no, of course we are. We gathered the best of the best of this Email party, which found every single participant well, very well, thank you. Because of all the emails we’ve ever seen – this email has got to be the best email of all.
