‘This cat NEEDS to come out right now’: 5 Lowe’s employees rescue ‘Dirt’ the gray tabby kitten from a gardening pallet, utilizing canned tuna and their pawrent persistence to lure her to safety

“How many Lowe’s employees does it take to get a kitten out of a pallet of dirt?”

That’s the question a Lowe’s employee posed in r/CatDistributionSystem on Reddit. When you least expect it, the CDS comes to play, full force, waiting for the next willing purrson to fall victim to the cute cats of the streets. Sometimes, they might be in your car engine. Other times, they’ll waltz up to your front porch and sploot down outside your window until you break down and let them in for some cuddles. Even at the most inconvenient of times, cats will find their way to you, and then to your heart. Can you blame them? All they’re looking for is a pawrent who will give them the life they deserve!

The Lowe’s employee in this next story explains that it took five employees, not including her mother and a tin can of tuna, to coax a pawdorable tabby kitten she found out of a pallet of dirt as she was watering the store’s plants. Later named “Dirt,” the tabby put up one good fight, but they were no match for the Lowe’s employees who could. Scroll below to read the full story and see photos of the rescue in action!
