‘Teen Mom’s’ Ryan Edwards Apologizes to Son Bentley, 16, For Not Being Present
Ryan Edwards is growing his family—with his son’s blessing.
Three months after the Teen Mom: The Next Chapter star announced his engagement to Amanda Conner, fans had a chance to see him getting approval from his and ex Maci Bookout’s son Bentley, along with Amanda’s son Brandon, 12, ahead of the proposal.
“The reason I wanted you guys here to talk to you guys was to ask you if everybody was OK if I ask your mom to marry her,” Ryan said to Brandon in the April 24 episode of the Teen Mom spinoff. “And, Bentley, is it OK if I do it?”
After both boys approved of his move, the 37-year-old—who is also dad to 2-month-old daughter Presley with Amanda, as well as kids Jagger, 10, and Stella, 5, with ex Mackenzie Standifer—shared more details about his plans.
“I’m going to ask her tonight,” he explained. “So, I’m going to get down on one knee.”
