Punjab Kings haven’t qualified for the playoffs since 2014. But two wins in the last three matches could end that jinx.
With the 37-run win over Lucknow Super Giants at their second home in Dharamshala, Punjab Kings are now within touching distance of the IPL 2025 Playoff spot. With 15 points from 11 matches, PBKS have moved to the 2nd spot on the IPL Points Table. All they now need is two wins to seal a spot in the IPL 2025 playoffs without any hiccups.
Two wins in three matches will take PBKS to 19 points, which could be enough to ensure a Top-2 finish. However, if PBKS win only one match in the remaining three, they can still go through, but that won’t ensure a Top 2 finish. Punjab have not qualified for the playoffs since 2014.
