Hey, y’all! It’s another pawesome day here at the ICanHasCheezburger office, so let’s talk about one of our favorite cat quirks: fitting and sitting. We’ve all heard the classic cat phrase, “If I fits, I sits,” and today, we’re here to prove once and for all that this is an undeniable fact. Of all the comfortable places to relax, cats somehow always choose the tiniest, most awkward spots—the ones they barely fit into! It doesn’t make much sense to us humans, but hey, as long as our feline friends are happy, who are we to question their choices? If their fluffy lil’ booties fit, you best believe they’re going to sit.
Apparently, they can squeeze into all kinds of crevices, no matter the size or shape. It’s a ruff life being a cat—between all the snacks and endless cat naps, they need the purrfect lounging spot. More often than not, that means a cardboard box, but sometimes it’s a basket or some other oddly shaped seating arrangement. The verdict is in: this series of images definitively proves that if a cat fits, they will sit—no exceptions.
