Well, it’s the end of my SXSW 2025 coverage. This year feels especially bittersweet because I saw some truly amazing films this year. If you missed the previous round of short reviews, you can read them HERE.
For those who don’t know how these Short Review Round-Ups work, let me give you the rundown. Each movie listed will have a “Short Version” and a “Longer Version” mini-review. The names are pretty self-explanatory, but the Short Version will just be a couple of sentences long. If you’d like to know just a bit more, read the extra paragraphs in the Longer Version.
It’s time to wrap things up, and this round of coverage includes some of the best movies I saw at SXSW 2025 this year. Also, I will rank my Top 5 Favorite Films from the festival this year at the end:
