Stephen Baldwin is saluting his son-in-law Justin Bieber.
The Usual Suspects star—who is dad to Justin’s wife Hailey Bieber—complimented the “Somebody to Love” singer as well as his daughter Alaia Baldwin Aronow’s husband Andrew Aronow, calling them welcome additions to his family.
In an interview on the June 25 episode of The Adam Carolla Show, Stephen declared, “I’m blessed that my two daughters married two great guys.”
The 59-year-old—who married wife Kennya Baldwin in 1990—didn’t just praise his daughters’ taste in men. He also highlighted both of his daughters’ independence and strong business sense, noting that he never felt a “need to be involved” in their careers.
“I let my kids do what they’re doing,” he explained, “and if they want to throw a boomerang at me, I’ll call them back.”
Stephen’s approach to parenting certainly paid off for Hailey, 28, whose Rhode Skin cosmetics company was recently sold to e.l.f. Beauty in a deal valued at a whopping $1 billion.
