SA level series with 3-wicket win

IND vs SA Live: Come the second innings, the South African batsmen looked comfortable during their stay at the wicket. After 4 overs, they were 24/1. A comeback of sorts came when Varun Chakravarthy removed Aiden Markram to make it 33/2. Then the score progressed to 44/3. In fact, the bowler managed to take a fifer as well.

India started the second T20I poorly as Sanju Samson was removed for a duck in the first over by Marco Jansen. His scores from last three matches read 100, 100, 0. Soon to follow him back to the pavilion was Abhishek Sharma, who only scored 4. The carnage did not stop there as India were reduced to 45/4 at one stage. Later it moved to 87/6. Hardik Pandya’s 39 from 45 took India to 124/6.

Suryakumar Yadav and co. will be aiming to extend their domination as they gear up for India vs South Africa 2nd T20I. India took a 1-0 lead in the series following an emphatic 61-run victory in Durban in the series opener. The game at Gqeberha is threatened by rain but there ae more chances for the fans to witness a full game.

All eyes will be on Sanju Samson, who is in excellent form, and two days back scored his second T20I ton. In fact, it was his second in as many matches, having scored a ton in Hyderabad, vs Bangladesh as well. But his partner Abhishek Sharma is badly in need of some runs here. Meanwhile, India went with unchanged XI for the second T20I.
