1. Fan comes to touch Riyan’s feet
At his home ground in Guwahati during an IPL match, Rajasthan Royals’ captain Riyan Parag experienced a special moment. During the match against KKR, a fan ran towards Riyan when he was bowling and touched his feet, which led to many memes online.
2. Love for Virat
In the opening game of IPL 2025 at Eden Gardens, a fan breached security to meet Virat Kohli during the second innings. The fan revealed later that Kohli kindly asked him to run away quickly to avoid trouble.
3. Riyan Parag’s Rude behavior
Riyan Parag was trolled for his behaviour during Rajasthan Royals’ win against Chennai Super Kings. A video surfaced of Parag taking a selfie with the stadium’s ground staff and tossing the phone back, which led to criticism online.
4. Hardik Pandya vs Sai Kishore
During the match between Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans, MI’s captain Hardik Pandya and R. Sai Kishore were involved in a staredown. Hardik was heard yelling “f*** off” to the spinner. The issue was resolved post-match, as the players were seen hugging.
5. Kohli meets Dhoni
Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni, two giants of Indian cricket, had a fun chat after RCB defeated CSK at Chepauk Stadium for the first time in 17 years. Seeing these legends together is always a special moment for fans.
6. Virat Kohli vs Khaleel
After RCB’s match against CSK, Virat Kohli was seen having a brief word with CSK’s pacer Khaleel Ahmed during the post-match handshake. Kohli expressed his frustration, to which Khaleel responded, “Bhaiya, bowling toh karne do dhang se” (Let me bowl properly).
7. Rishabh with Goenka
Sanjeev Goenka, passionate about the game, was seen chatting with Rishabh Pant during a match. Initially, it was speculated to be an intense conversation, but later it was clarified on social media that it was a heartfelt chat.
8. Goenka hugged Rishabh
Also, when LSG thrashed Sunrisers Hyderabad, Goenka came down to the ground and hugged Rishabh Pant tightly.
9. Dhoni’s Grand Welcome at Guwahati
MS Dhoni is popular all over India, and he received a loud welcome at Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati. When Dhoni came to bat, the noise levels reached a deafening 120 decibels.
During a match commentary between Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad, India’s legendary spinner Harbhajan Singh, now a broadcaster, faced controversy for a racist remark. He referred to Jofra Archer as “kali taxi” (black taxi), which led to backlash and calls for suspension from the commentary panel, though no action was taken.
