‘Rick and Morty’ Just Revealed That Rick Destroyed Jerry’s Dick

Of all the injustices that the many Ricks of Rick and Morty have wrought on their various Jerrys, somehow, this is the first time that Rick has robbed his despised son-in-law of his very manhood.
As the resident schlemiel and schlimazel of every dimension within the Rick and Morty multiverse, poor, unremarkable, easily pleased Jerry Smith has taken a lot of lumps from the rest of his family, but the Jerry job does have its perks. While Jerry is forced to cede full household authority to his wife’s father and thus emasculates himself in the eyes of everyone closest to him, he gets the occasional threesome with his wife and his wife’s clone to ease the pain of obeying a better patriarch — but, following some recent offscreen events, Jerry might not even have that going for him anymore.
Don’t Miss
In tonight’s new episode of Rick and Morty, “The CuRicksous Case of Bethjamin Button,” a quick trip to what was supposed to be a bathroom prompts Jerry to reveal that he now has to pee sitting down, telling Rick, “It’s your fault I have to go like this, you destroyed my urethra when you turned me into a trash can!”

The urethra reveal is even more brutal for Jerry considering how, just last season, Rick and Jerry were literally sharing their bodies when Rick’s garage robot attempted to reconstruct their corpses following a mind-swapping mishap in “The Jerrick Trap.” The fact that Rick is willing to further fuck with Jerry’s anatomy shows that, despite the focus on family thus far in Rick and Morty Season Eight, Rick Sanchez still can’t help himself when it comes to traumatizing the source of his grandkids’ unemployed genes.
Of course, the throwaway line explaining Jerry’s embarrassing little squat outside the restroom ride at Earthworld doesn’t explain why Rick turned Jerry into a trash can, so he may have had a very good reason — namely, that Jerry was being annoying, and the Garbage Goober was taking the day off. Rick’s done a lot worse over a lot less.
