Reports: Jets hire Aaron Glenn as head coach

The New York Jets have their man.

Aaron Glenn has been named as the franchise’s next head coach, per multiple reports.

Glenn, 52, was one of the top candidates in this cycle. He was the defensive co-ordinator for the Lions since 2021 and has been a vital part of Detroit’s rise to the top.

New York fired head coach Robert Saleh after Week 5, and named DC Jeff Ulbrich as interim HC. They finished 5-12 this season, and own the longest playoff drought in the league at 14 seasons.

Glenn takes over from Ulbrich with many questions surrounding the offence. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers and high-priced mid-season trade acquisition Devante Adams’ futures are uncertain, while holes along the offensive line remain
