Raptors rookie Jamal Shead leaves pre-season game with hamstring injury
Toronto Raptors rookie Jamal Shead was forced out of a pre-season game with an injury Tuesday night.
Shead left a contest against the Boston Celtics early in the second quarter with what the team called hamstring tightness.
Shead, 22, was selected by the Kings in the second round of the 2024 NBA Draft and traded to the Raptors on draft night.
The six-foot-one guard has been a bright spot for the Raptors early in the pre-season, averaging 10 points and 3.7 assists in three pre-season games entering Tuesday.
