EXCLUSIVE: Parallax Studios has signed with UTA, where the company will be represented by the Production Arts division.
A premier pre-production and visual development studio with offices in Los Angeles and London, Parallax Studios’ recent projects include Dune: Prophecy for HBO, The Electric State and The Gray Man for Netflix and the Russo Brothers, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, and A Minecraft Movie.
Founded by designer Steve Jung – who has contributed to such tentpoles as The Avengers, Transformers, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Blade Runner 2049 — the company is known for offering a full suite of design and visualization services including concept art, previsualization, animation, motion graphics, and cinematics. Their client list spans top-tier studios, streamers, game developers, experiential designers, and innovation teams across film, television, gaming, theme parks, advertising, and industrial design.
In the themed entertainment and industrial sectors, Parallax is actively engaged with Walt Disney Imagineering on multiple initiatives and partners with Boston Dynamics on next-generation design and marketing content. In gaming, they’re a visual development partner for both EA and Riot Games.
Prior to founding Parallax, Jung served as Head of Visual Development for Universal’s Dark Universe, overseeing the visual direction of interconnected features. Parallax’s leadership team also includes Dane Smith (former Chief Strategy Officer, The Third Floor), Visualization Supervisor Ben Nelson (formerly with Marvel), and Director of Technology Ash Nagavelli (formerly with DreamWorks).
