It has come as a huge surprise, as there were no reports of Rohit getting hit at the nets. However, Hardik Pandya confirmed that he got hit on his knees and is thus not fit for the LSG vs MI game in Lucknow.

What did Hardik Pandya say at the toss?

“We’ll bowl first. Looks like a fresh wicket. I’m not sure how it will play, and dew might come in later as well. They make things a bit different, but in the group, we have discussed that the day we play good cricket, we’ll get ahead in the contest. Adaptation and sticking to the right plans and being smart about it.
