‘Memory Of A Killer’ Adds Odeya Rush To Cast

EXCLUSIVE: Odeya Rush has been cast as a series regular opposite Patrick Dempsey, Michael Imperioli and Richard Harmon in the new Fox drama series Memory of a Killer, from Warner Bros. Television and Fox Entertainment, which is slated to premiere in midseason.
From writers Ed Whitmore and Tracey Malone, Memory of a Killer is inspired by the award-winning 2003 Belgian thriller De Zaak Alzheimer (La Memoire Du Tueur), and follows Angelo Ledda (Dempsey), a hitman who is leading a dangerous double life while hiding an even deadlier personal secret: He has developed early-onset Alzheimer’s.
Rush will play Maria, Angelo ‘s (Dempsey) daughter. Married young and pregnant, it seems she’s chosen a quiet life. But something stirs in her – a yearning for adventure. Might she be a chip off the old hitman block? Angelo is Maria’s everything, so when his mind begins to falter, she’s right there by his side to care for him. As she gets closer and closer to her father, she’ll find that being close to Angelo is a dangerous place to be.
Memory of a Killer is produced by Warner Bros. Television and Fox Entertainment. Whitmore and Malone executive produce alongside Cathy Schulman of Welle Entertainment. Arthur Sarkissian and Martin Campbell are also executive producers, along with Peter Bouckaert of Eyeworks.
Israeli-born Rush most recently headlined Dangerous Waters and will next star in the indie horror-thriller Corporate Retreat. She also recently appeared in Cha Cha Real Smooth and Umma. Her additional feature credits include Lady Bird, The Giver, Dumplin’ and Goosebumps, and she guest starred on Curb Your Enthusiasm. Rush is repped by Verve, MGMT Entertainment and Goodman Genow Shenkman.
