Lou Dobbs has died.

The conservative political pundit, known for his appearances and on Fox Business Network, and as the longtime host of Lou Dobbs Tonight, passed away at the age of 78.

“It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of ‘The Great Lou Dobbs,’” reads a post on his social media.

Lou Dobbs Tonight originally premiered on CNN in 1980 as Moneyline. He also served as CNN’s chief economics correspondent, later taking on the role of executive vice president at the channel.

Our thoughts are with Lou Dobbs’ loved ones at this difficult time. We have sadly lost many stars in 2024.
