Lin-Manuel Miranda & Hamilton Original Cast Perform

Tony Awards 2025: Nicole Scherzinger Gets Emotional Sharing How Broadway Changed Her Life

King George III was right: The original Hamilton cast came back.

As the 78th Annual Tony Awards, hosted by Cynthia Erivo saw many big moments—like Sarah Snook score their first Tony ever for her performance in The Picture of Dorian Gray and the Wicked: For Good star cheekily tease a bit of what is to come in the sequel by hitting bars during her opening number. (See every Tonys winner here.)

However, never have Hamilton fans been so satisfied until Lin-Manuel Miranda, Leslie Odom Jr. and Tonys nominee Jonathan Groff—as well as the rest of the show’s original 2015 cast—perform a grand medley of the musical to celebrate its 10th anniversary.

During the performance, Miranda and Odom Jr. appeared in black suits to kick off the show with “Non-Stop” before transitioning into “My Shot,” before The Schuyler Sisters a.k.a. Renee Elise Goldsberry, Phillipa Soo and Jasmine Cephas Jones came out to perform their song.

And yes, Groff came out to sing “You’ll Be Back” in a contrasting red suit before Odom came to round things out with a rendition of “The Room Where It Happens.”
