HBO’s Eastbound & Down will be celebrating its 16th anniversary this year, and we wanted to celebrate the absurd comedy with some epic bloopers. On paper, it’s hard to say that this show should’ve worked at all. A baseball story starring Danny McBride?
That’s not a knock on Danny at all, but by 2009 he had really only a handful of movies under his belt. Hot Rod, Pineapple Express, and Tropic Thunder certainly put him on the map.
HBO clearly knew what they were doing because the show would run for 4 seasons. Along the way there would be massive features and cameos including Matthew McConaughey, Will Ferrell, Craig Robinson, and many more. Let’s take a look back at some moments that had us smiling from ear to ear.
