Grieving person who had just lost their soul cat gets chosen by a tiny, sick kitten who latched onto their leg and refused to let go: 'I took the hint and brought her home.'

We know that we’re all in denial about our cat’s ages and what it going to happen to them… at the end. We know it, and we are going to keep being in denial until it happens. We know that it’s going to hurt, and we don’t know how we are going to handle it. We would probably be exactly like the person in this story – grieving and sad. Although we don’t know if we are going to be as lucky as they were and get adopted by a cat so soon after. 

Maybe you think that this would be too soon for you, but as is known, you don’t really get a say. When the cat distribution system decides that it is your time and sends a cat to adopt you, you kind of have to take it home with you. And this kitty was not going to let her chosen human go. And so the determined kitten got adopted, and you know what… we know that this human needed her just as much as she needed them.
