Ehlers and the Hurricanes will travel to Winnipeg on Nov. 21 in the Dane’s first game against the Jets. Exactly one week later, the Jets will visit their former forward’s new digs in Carolina.

Winnipeg will open its season with a grudge match at home on Oct. 9 against the Dallas Stars, who took out the reigning Presidents’ Trophy Champions in Round 2 last season.
Toews will face his former team, the Blackhawks, for the first time in Winnipeg on Oct. 30 before making what is sure to be an emotional return to Chicago — where he won three Stanley Cups — on Jan. 19.
Winnipeg’s season finale is set for April 16 at home against the San Jose Sharks.
