Jennifer announced in May that she was canceling her tour so that she could take some “time off to be with her children, family and close friends.”
The Unstoppable actress shares her 16-year-old twins Emme and Max with ex-husband Marc Anthony.
“When it comes up, I like to apologize to the fans because I know a lot of them were coming out,” Jennifer added, referring to the canceled tour.
She then shared a story about recently running into fans in the U.K. that purchased tickets to her tour.
“This was actually very touching. “Coming out of the hotel yesterday, they were like, ‘I had tickets to go see you!’” Jennifer recalled. “And I was like, ‘I’m so sorry.’ He was like, ‘Don’t say sorry, we love you.’ I started crying right away.”
As it turned out, one of those fans ended up being in the audience of The Graham Norton Show, and he shouted it to Jennifer, who then got up and gave him a hug.
“I got in the car and literally cried. Honestly, it was very hard for me to cancel and I’ve never done that before. I’m sorry,” Jennifer told the fan, who said that her fans understood her decision to cancel the tour.
“Okay, good,” Jennifer responded. “I love my fans, oh my God.”
