Jax Taylor Leaving The Valley

Jax Taylor Delivers Shocking Apology to Fans and Ex Brittany Cartwright in Sobriety Update
Jax Taylor is stepping away from the spotlight.
The Valley star—whose second season on the Bravo series focused on his time away at a wellness facility and the fallout of his split with Brittany Cartwright—announced he won’t be returning for the show’s third season.
“After an incredibly challenging year and many honest conversations with my team and producers, I’ll be stepping away from the next season of The Valley,” Jax said in a statement shared to Us Weekly. “Right now, my focus needs to be on my sobriety, my mental health, and coparenting. Taking this time is necessary for me to become the best version of myself—especially for our son, Cruz.”
E! News has reached out to Jax’s reps and Bravo for comment but has not yet heard back.
The news comes after what was a challenging second showing for Jax. Shortly into the season, Jax checked himself into a facility to help him navigate his mental health struggles, leaving him absent for a few of the episodes, though his presence was often felt through angry texts sent to Brittany and the rest of the cast as well as the occasional confessional filmed during his stay.
