Happy Caturday, feline fam! We grew up in a family with four dogs and only one cat. That essentially made us a dog person. We loved the cat, but the dogs just took up so much more space in our lives that we grew to love them more simply by their numbers. But we got older, moved out and lived on our own as adults, and realized that we missed that feeling of having a pet in our lives. 

Our first instinct was to get a doggo, but that just wasn’t in the cards. So, hesitantly, we went to a cat shelter and planned on coming back with a kitten – a fresh feline start. We ended up falling in love with a five-year-old cat that was returned for being “too cuddly”. As soon as she got home, she crawled right into our laps, and we were sold.
