‘I would be stealing someone’s cat’: Neglectful neighbors give their 10-year-old son a kitten without helping him care for it, concerned cat mom contemplates stealing the kitten to give it a better life

We have a soft spot in our heart for animals in need. We know that we are all about cats here at I Can Has Cheezburger (because cats are the best), but no matter if it’s a cat, a dog, a bird, or a snail, we can’t not help an animal that could use some hooman intervention. However, what do you do if the hoomans are the problem? Not everyone is cut out to be a cat owner, it’s just as simple as that. A lot of people don’t know how to care for cats, and if the cats need help…do you break the rules and save them?
