‘[I ran] back into the building with fire extinguishers and buckets of water’: Cat dad’s feline friends alert him of fire in apartment, allowing him to save his cats and everyone every resident

Happy Monday, feline fam. We always say that our cats are like our guardian angels – they’ve saved us from sad meowments, from any shenanigans that could occur to us while we’re in the bathtub (they are the best and noisiest lifeguards we’ve ever met), and of course, they protect us from the dangers of sleeping in too late. But, the cat dad in this story has definitive proof that our cats truly are watching over us! 

Last Sunday, this man’s feline friends alerted him to something wrong in their apartment complex. Picking up the purrfectly clear signals they were giving, he went to the front door and found the hallway filled with smoke. He was able to get his cats out and alert the other residents in time before the fire spread to quickly. He even ran back in to help fight the fire before the firemen arrived. Now, if this man isn’t a hero, we’re not sure who is! But we have his cute cats to think in the furst place. See more pics and the full story below!
