“This cat showed up at my house and now it won’t leave! It’s decided we’re family now that I fed it. It finally let me pet it, and ever since then, it just wants love and attention all the time. I love cats, but unfortunately, my dog does not, so I can’t let it inside—though it definitely tries to follow me in.

Last night, it sat by my front door for about 20 minutes, waiting for me to open it, before finally curling up on the chair on my front porch to sleep.

Since I can’t bring it indoors, I figure the next best thing is to keep giving it food, fresh water, and build a little shelter for it. I’ve asked a few neighbors if it’s theirs, and they’ve all said no. I’ve also posted about the cat on PetFBI and Nextdoor just in case, but so far, no one has reached out.”
