Hope is restored when 3 very large and sweet Maincoons left in ‘devastating’ condition are rescued and given pawdorable new haircuts: ‘Boots with the fur!’

Luckily, the babies got rescued and taken straight to the care they needed. Two of the cats had to be sedated and shaved down, one was able to just get a nice brush out. They all got the meds they needed and are in the processes of healing in foster care until they are ready for adoption. 

The woman taking care of them can’t believe just how friendly they are! She says she’s used to Maincoons being friendly, since that is in their breed, but these three in-particular are extra loving—which is surprising to her after the condition they were found in. Because of this, she finds their story even more tragic because it was clear these babies were very much loved, but due to tragedy, they could not be taken care of properly.
