Gwen Stefani just dropped her brand new single “Somebody Else’s“!
The 54-year-old singer debuted the track on Friday (September 20) just a day after announcing her new album Bouquet.
This is the second song released that will be featured on the album, following the first, “Purple Irises,” a duet with her husband Blake Shelton, which was released earlier this year.

“Somebody Else’s” mixes a new wave flare with 70s soft rock energy, and was recorded with a full live band!
“The new single is an outlier in that it looks back, but only long enough to take stock of the present,” a press release for the single reads. “The insight, vulnerability, confidence, and raw honesty that Stefani displays— not to mention the timelessness of the music — may offer a hint of what’s to come. Of course, Stefani‘s ability to keep us guessing has been a large part of her staying power and perennial appeal.”
