Geoff Neal vs. Carlos Prates re-scheduled for UFC 319

Two of the top welterweights will finally face off next month at UFC 319 in Chicago.

The UFC announced Sunday that Geoff Neal vs. Carlos Prates has been added to the card.

Neal and Prates were set to fight on the main card of UFC 314 in April, but the match was cancelled when Neal withdrew due to injury.

Instead, Prates fought Ian Machado Garry on a UFC Fight Night card on April 26, losing via unanimous decision.

The defeat snapped an pro bout winning streak of 11 for Prates, who is 4-1 with four knockouts since joining the UFC.

Neal has won three of his five past fights, including an opening-round TKO victory over Rafael dos Anjos last October.

UFC 319 features a main event with middleweight champion Dricus du Plessis defending the belt against undefeated contender Khamzat Chimaev.
