COMEDY

Funny Pages of the Internet Are Sh*tposts

These are not from the fresh and curated corners of the internet, like how there were magazines and then there were newspapers.

The polished, high-end articles and political commentary cartoons were printed on high-gloss premium paper.

The somewhat random and absurd, not as audience-tested stuff got printed in black and white. It usually still at hit the same. But if the papers were promoting things found on the internet, these are some of the images that would surface on the old black and white.

A place where Garfield hated Mondays (and eventually so did we all), Ziggy was perpetually confused, Dilbert couldn’t find the goddamn stapler, even the New York Times Crossword was an entertaining as the latest Netflix suspense-thriller.

Pull up a digital newspaper and enjoy today’s “comic section” – maybe even check out the Now Playing section for movie times. I suggest Sinners or Friendship.
