Content creators and influencers have been taking over, becoming go-tos for passing the time and even sometimes information.
According to Forbes, the influencer industry is worth $250 billion and Goldman Sachs predicts it will nearly double by 2027!
The business magazine has unveiled their list of the top creators of the year, noting the honorees have earned nearly $720 million over the past year, an increase from 2023.
This year’s top content creators range from YouTube stars to TikTok and Instagram creators, and even Twitch streamers.
Some have even used their social media to break into the mainstream entertainment industry, from sold out comedy tours to movies and music!
In order to tabulate the list of top content creators, Forbes “crunched data on the estimated gross earnings, follower counts, engagement rates, and entrepreneurial activities of thousands of internet personalities with the help of the creator marketing firm Influential.”
