Dog who grew up with a bunch of giant Maine Coon cats thinks that she is a fabulous feline too: ‘In her heart, she’s all cat’
It’s amazing how much influence our cats and on us and we have on our cats. You wouldn’t think so. Cats are so small and silly and different from humans. How could we possibly become more like them and they like us? The answer is: easily. If you have never seen a cat watching TV like it’s a human, sitting in front of the screen and staring just like we do, then you are missing out. And if you have never had a meowing conversation with your cat, fully convinced that it can understand you, then we don’t even know what you are doing.
Cats have this power over us – making us understand them, be more like them, probably so that we know exactly when to provide all the snacks that they need. We knew that cats had this power over us, but we didn’t think that they would have it over other animals too. We were wrong about that. This little pupper proves it. Spend enough time in the company of a cat, and you will soon believe that you are one of them.
