A Zoom call for Vice President Kamala Harris, dubbed “White Dudes for Kamala Harris,” took place on Monday evening (July 29), and a rumor quickly spread about some celebrities who might have been in the call.

A tweet went viral suggesting that Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff, New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones, and Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow all joined the call to support the projected future Democratic nominee for President.

From there, so many reports began rolling out suggesting the trio were all individually on the call.

An Ohio-based news organization, the Enquirer, confirmed with the Bengals that Joe was not on the call.

We also heard that Daniel was not on the call. No word yet if Jared was actually there or if this too was just a rumor.

Neither Joe nor Daniel have revealed who they would be voting for in November, so their lack of participation does not suggest anything politically. They are both in the midst of NFL training camp and getting ready for the regular season, which is kicking off in early September.
