Daily Roundup 5/2 – Possible BIP Contestants, More on The Valley, Some Possible Not-So-Great News For Laura Owens, & Jennie Garth Has Jason Priestly on Her Podcast

Today we’re gonna talk briefly about the Medina interview from yesterday. More so on just Joey’s women and Bachelor in Paradise.

I’ve got a little bit on the valley. We are going to talk about what Arizona County Prosecutor Rachel Mitchell said at a press conference yesterday regarding the Clayton Eckard, Laura Owens case and. Did you see who was on the I Choose Me Podcast, which is Jenny Garth’s other podcast that she does. She had Jason Priestley on for an hour, believe it or not.

I listened to the whole thing and God is this frustrating to listen to. It really, really is. Jason had to be frustrated with it, but they’re friends. I’m sure he’s gonna pretend that he wasn’t. I’m sure he loves Jenny. The podcaster in me is absolutely just screaming at my phone listening to this podcast.

I’ll tell you a little bit about it coming up momentarily. Alright, so I had Medina alarm on the podcast yesterday, episode number 4 41. Hope you listened to it. Hope you checked it out on YouTube, or you listened to it on Apple Podcasts or Spotify. And you heard me say at the beginning of the interview, all of Joey’s women are out of contract now because.

Your contract runs from a year from when your finale airs. So Joey’s finale aired mid-March last year. So they’re outta contract and they can do interviews that don’t need to be run by the show. And so I I had approached Medina messaged her and she’s like, yeah, I’ll do it. And you heard that yesterday and remember.

Last year was when? 2024 is when Joey’s season aired from January to March, and then on a normal shooting schedule. Bachelor in Paradise. Season 10 would’ve happened last year. But remember, they decided to skip Bachelor in Paradise last year. So Joey’s women were not on Bachelor in Paradise last year.

They would’ve made up a majority of the cast, I would think last season. So now you go to this season, it’s like, okay, well Joey’s women and Grants women are gonna make up a majority of the cast. But then I looked at the list of Joey’s women. Again, I went over it ’cause I was like, well, who from Joey’s season would be on Paradise this year?

Who’s an option? And I just forgot, A lot of them are taken. So you just go down the list, go in order of when they were eliminated. Kelsey Anderson, obviously with Joey. Daisy has a boyfriend, Thor, Rachel Nance, who finished third, is somebody that everybody wants or expects to be on there. I haven’t heard either way.

If Rachel is doing it, I’ve heard, I mean, I’ve heard rumblings that she’s not, so that’s why I didn’t put her on my list yesterday, but it doesn’t mean she won’t show up at some point, but I have not heard Rachel is going on. Maria, not doing it. She was fourth, fifth was Jen Tran. We know Jen’s not doing it.

Sixth was Kelsey. T. Kelsey t was on this podcast. She’s been, she’s gotten married since Joey’s season. Jess, who finished seventh, she is on the list that I put yesterday. So that’s one. Caitlyn who finished eighth. She’s got a boyfriend, Leah, who finished ninth. She is going to be down in Paradise. Lexi finished 10th and that’s the one that I’ve heard both about.

I’ve heard that she is doing it and I’ve heard people say that she’s not doing it. I’m leaning towards, she probably is. But I know she’s running a business in Georgia and maybe she can’t get away for a few weeks. I don’t know, but. Jess and Lee are the only two that I put in there for sure. 11th place was Allison, she’s got a boyfriend.

12th place was Autumn. She went on a podcast and said she’s not doing it. 13th place, Edwina. I have no idea. 14th place was Medina. You heard her on the podcast yesterday. She’s not doing it. 15th play Sydnee. She went on almost famous. She’s not doing it. And then after that, I mean, we’re talking about people that finished 16th place on, so week three or earlier.

I’m sure one or maybe a couple of these girls are going, but you know, if I told you that Krisa Perez was going on Paradise, is that gonna get you excited and, and no shade against Krisa, but she lasted three episodes on Joey’s season. Let’s face it. Most people don’t remember her. Evelyn finished. 17th Star finished 18th.

I know Star has a boyfriend, so she’s out. Erica finished 19th. Lauren, the other twin, finished 20th. I think she’s got a boyfriend. Marlene sent home week two. Taylor sent home week two. Chandler sent home week one. Kayla, Kyra, Laney, Nat, Sam, Samantha. Sandra, I mean. There aren’t a lot of options now for Joey’s season.

I can tell you Jess and Leah are definitely doing it and Lexi I’d say is probably doing it. But when you just go down that list, you’re like, oh, wow. Even though Joey’s women didn’t get a chance on Paradise last year, a lot of ’em were taken. A couple of ’em, even married. I mean, Daisy’s moved in with her boyfriend Thor in in Las Vegas, and.

Built a house together. Kelsey t has gotten married. Like so There’s just not gonna be a lot of Joey’s women on the season. That’s why it’s gonna be mostly grant’s, women, and I would say. As you know, still some of Zach’s women are are gonna go as well. I told you, Kat Izzo is going to be there. And there was someone else from Zach’s season that I had on the list yesterday that I’m blanking on.

But it was just interesting to look at because when I was speaking to Medina, I. It was actually going over it with her, and I’m just like, I wonder how many women from your season are going? She’s like, I don’t really talk to a lot of ’em, so I have no idea. I, I just know that I was in talks, but it just didn’t make financial sense for me to go and it doesn’t, based on what she told me and what she needs to do for her mental health job, it doesn’t make a lot of sense for her to get down to Paradise.

But I thought that was really interesting. When I actually went back and looked at Joey’s women, I was like, yeah, a lot of these women are taken. And then once you get past. The 15th place finisher, you’re dealing with people who went home Rose sermon number three or earlier, and they’re just not memorable in the audience’s mind.

So I, I’m guessing it’s gonna be a lot, a lot of grants, women, and the few that I mentioned from Joey’s season, and then obviously you’ve got Zach’s, some of Zach’s women that are going, but. There’s, there’s plenty of names that I have not heard about that are going, because when you look at past casts of Bachelor in Paradise, if they keep the same format, the amount of people that show up at some point during Paradise is usually mid thirties to high thirties, even low forties.

I think the last season of Paradise, I think 42 people showed up in Paradise at some point. How many did I give you yesterday? 15 names. Like I’m not even close to this cast of how many people are going to this thing. So there’s still way more people that are going, assuming they’re keeping the same format.

So just keep that in mind. I mentioned in the open, I wanted to bring up something about the Valley and. If I am speaking out of line, I would absolutely love someone who is a diehard on the Valley tea to let me know. I’ve seen this pop up a couple times, but I don’t know the legitimacy of it other than the basics I know are right, but how true the details are, I’m not sure.

And that is about Janet. You know, I have a newfound respect for Janet because she threw her birthday at Dave and Buster’s. Absolutely love that. Congratulations, Janet. I’m pissed at you for not inviting me, even though you have no idea who I am, and we’ve never spoken either way. The one thing that I’m is starting to make the rounds about Janet, and this might have made the rounds last year in season one.

I’m just seeing it now for the first time, I had no idea that Janet was previously married, and there is stories going on on the Valley T boards and whatnot. That Janet was married, living in Ohio, but she was obsessed with Vanderpump rules and basically convinced her husband, I wanna move to LA and befriend, or somehow get on Vanderpump rules.

And she said she wanted to give it one year, and if she couldn’t befriend anybody on Vander Pump rules, then they would move back to Ohio. So not only did that happen, she somehow befriended the women. She divorced her husband, so, and then married Jason I think two years later. I could be off on the years and stuff like that.

But the facts are, she was definitely married and then the rumor is that she convinced her husband to move to LA for one year to give her one year to see if she could, I dunno, make it big or make it as an actress or get on Vanderpump rules and. Now, she’s obviously no longer with that husband from Ohio, and we know that she’s married to Jason, so I don’t know how true it is, but that is kind of weird to me.

I’m sure she has befriended them. I, I guess my question is like, do they all know this? Do they all know that she is befriended them because she had it in her head that I wanna be on Vander Pub rules so bad. I don’t know. That’s the part that I’m unsure of. Clearly, she’s friends with a lot of the people in the Vanderpump Rule Circle and.

Friends with them enough to where she’s one of the main cast members of the valley. So she, whatever plan she had set out for when she left Ohio, obviously has worked. I’m just curious to know how true, are these rumors, was she that obsessed? Is that really the reason that she moved to Los Angeles? And is that really the reason that she left her husband because she did get in good with the Vanderpump Rules group?

Was it something else? What? Did he divorce her? Did she divorce him because she wanted a new group of friends? I don’t know. I, that’s the part, I don’t know. The only thing that is factually correct is she used to live in Ohio and she was married and then she moved to LA after that. It’s all speculation, but that seems to be the speculation that she literally moved to LA because she wanted to be on Vanderpump rules so bad.

’cause she was a super fan of the show and then she somehow. And this is what, I don’t know, how did she become friends with Sheena and all them? I don’t even know. ’cause she didn’t work at Sir. I don’t think so. I I, did she just know what places they go to and just hang out? Like. I’m sure people know this.

I’m like you said, like, you know, I’m, I’m a late comer to the whole Vanderpump Rules Group, and while I love the Valley, I would love to know more about Janet’s backstory, if anybody knows it and knows it with any sort of facts versus, or are you just hearing the same speculation that I’ve heard?
