The Indian cricket community & celebrities celebrated the 52nd birthday of legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar with heartfelt messages. Former players like Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, and Harbhajan Singh took to social media to express their admiration and extend their wishes.
Heartfelt wishes from fellow cricketers
Yuvraj Singh penned a touching tribute to Tendulkar, reflecting on his cricket journey and growth under Tendulkar’s mentorship. He wrote, “He was my childhood hero before he even knew my name. And then one day, I walked into a dressing room and saw him there. The Master himself. But what stayed with me wasn’t just his greatness. It was his grace… Happy Birthday, Master. You didn’t just play the game. You taught us how to carry ourselves through it. Loads of love always.”

Tendulkar’s Illustrious career
Sachin Tendulkar made his Test debut on November 15, 1989, at just 16 years old. Over his outstanding career, he accumulated 34,357 runs in 664 international matches, maintaining an average of 48.52. His record-breaking achievements include being the highest run-scorer in international cricket, scoring the most centuries (100) and half-centuries (164), and being the only player with a century of centuries.
In One Day Internationals (ODIs), Tendulkar scored 18,426 runs with 49 centuries and 96 fifties. In Tests, he amassed 15,921 runs, including 51 centuries. Notably, he was the first player to score a double century in ODIs and the only cricketer to play 200 Test matches.
His career was crowned by being a part of the Indian team that won the ICC Cricket World Cup in 2011, fulfilling a dream he had since the 1992 World Cup.
