Corbin Bernsen To Star In Thriller ‘Laura Louise’ From Duane Edwards
EXCLUSIVE: Corbin Bernsen (Your Friends and Neighbors) has signed on to star in Laura Louise, an indie thriller directed by Duane Edwards.
Laura Louise follows Edward Brannock (Bernsen), a retired postal worker thrust into the center of a reopened missing person’s case. When new evidence surfaces decades after a teenage girl vanished, Brannock faces intense scrutiny, forcing him to confront long-buried family secrets he’s desperate to keep hidden.
Pic is based on an original screenplay by Frederick Mensch (HBO’s Nightingale), who previously collaborated with Edwards on the 2024 drama Wrong Numbers, starring Emily Hall and David Kelsey. Edwards will produce for The King Productions, alongside co-producers Phil Lee and Darryl Manuel. Aaron Schoonover cast the picture, which shoots in Chicago this fall.
A two-time Emmy and Golden Globe nominee, Bernstein can currently be seen starring opposite Jon Hamm in Apple’s Your Friends and Neighbors, and in the Max series Duster from J. J. Abrams and LaToya Morgan. He is represented by Paradigm and Randy James Management.
Edwards is repped by UTA.
