SPOKANE, Wash. — Hasan Minhaj is coming to Spokane this fall to the First Interstate Center for the Arts on November 16.
Minhaj was the host and creator of the modern cultural and political weekly comedy show Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj that premiered on Netflix in October 2018. Patriot Act received several awards, including a 2019 Peabody Award and a 2019 Primetime Emmy Award. In 2020, the show was recognized for a Television Academy Honor.
In 2017, Minhaj hosted the White House Correspondents’ Dinner and earned rave reviews for his performance. His comedy special, “Hasan Minhaj: Homecoming King,” earned him a 2018 Peabody Award. Minhaj joined The Daily Show with Jon Stewart as a correspondent in November 2014, and continued that role after Trevor Noah took over as host the following year. He remained on the show through August 2018.
Minhaj is coming to Spokane for his newest show, The King’s Jester. Tickets will be on sale beginning Friday, June 11 at 10 a.m. at HasanMinhaj.com.
